I built my first guitar from wenge and Brad is right, you'll need tweezers. It's on the brittle and splitty side and the pores are like craters. I wasn't all that impressed with it myself. |

I have about 14 bd ft of it in one board. I just looked at my hand and, although it has been a week since I last touched the board I still see one sliver outstanding! ![]() Shane |

I've used it for carved top electric guitars. Absolutely beautiful wood if you get the right peice. It carves well, but it does make splinters. I fill with epoxy, then do it again until the pores are filled then finish the same as anything else. Al |
